The Influence of a Fathers
Introduction:
Father's Day is more than a cultural holiday. It is an opportunity to reflect on God's gift of fatherhood and the important role fathers play in families, churches, and communities.
The Bible presents God as a loving Father who cares for, protects, disciplines, provides for, and guides His children. Earthly fathers are called to model these same characteristics.
Not everyone has experienced a positive relationship with their father. Some may have lost their fathers, experienced absence, or suffered hurt. Yet God's perfect fatherhood offers hope, healing, and a model of unconditional love.
Key Scripture: (Psalm 103:13) "As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him."
